TAICHUNG, Taiwan, October 2026 — Five faculty members from the College of Management (CoM) at National Chung Hsing University (NCHU) have been named in the 2026 edition of the World’s Top 2% Scientists list, released by Stanford University in collaboration with Elsevier. The honorees come from two units: the Graduate Institute of Technology Management and the Department of Management Information Systems.
Published annually, the list draws on Scopus citation data and ranks researchers using a composite indicator that combines total citations, the h-index, a co-authorship-adjusted hm-index, and citations to papers written as single, first, or last author. Scientists are classified into 22 fields and 174 subfields, and two rankings are released each year: a Career-Long Impact list and a Single-Year Impact list covering the most recent year.
This year’s honorees are:
- Prof. Ming-Huei Chen (Technology Management) – Single-Year Impact List
- Prof. Juite Wang (Technology Management) – Career-Long Impact List
- Prof. Shu-Zhi Zhang (Technology Management) – Single-Year and Career-Long Impact Lists
- Prof. Chia-Chen Chen (Management Information Systems) – Single-Year and Career-Long Impact Lists
- Prof. Iuon-Chang Lin (Management Information Systems) – Career-Long Impact List
Professors Shu-Zhi Zhang and Chia-Chen Chen appear on both rankings, reflecting long-standing scholarly influence as well as strong current research momentum.
The recognition highlights CoM’s growing research strength in technology management, innovation, and information systems, and reaffirms its commitment to producing research with global impact while preparing students to lead in a rapidly changing business environment.
