The College of Management at National Chung Hsing University held a handover ceremony as outgoing and incoming college leadership formally transitioned. Following confirmation by the NCHU President, Professor Hsin-Yi Chi of the Department of Accounting has taken office as the College's 6th Dean.
Dean Chi holds a PhD in Business Administration from National Central University, with academic expertise in financial accounting and managerial decision-making, corporate governance and valuation, and auditing theory. He brings this research background to a college that, under successive deans, has built a strong record in talent development, research output, industry collaboration, and AACSB accreditation.
In his inaugural remarks, Dean Chi laid out four strategic priorities for the College going forward: interdisciplinary learning, research-industry upgrading, integrated institutional strengths, and a sustainable campus. On the international front, he committed to deepening the College's AACSB accreditation achievements, expanding academic partnerships across the Asia-Pacific region, and further implementing its English Medium of Instruction (EMI) policy — all aimed at strengthening the global competitiveness of both faculty and students.
"With more than 25 years of dedication to management education, the College of Management has built a leading position in Taiwan," Dean Chi said, adding that the College would continue to pursue inclusive, collaborative growth alongside faculty, students, alumni, and community partners in the years ahead.
